Regula Winzeler Member of the Board of Management of Lignocalor

Regula Winzeler has recently been elected member of the board of management and the technical commission of Lignocalor AG. Lignocalor is a company engaged in provisioning wood energy in the greater Bern area. The company in possession of forest owners and energy providers supplies big and small firing plants. The aim is to take advantage of the the potential of the local resource wood and to foster its utilisation for producing thermal energy.

Regula Winzeler Becomes Official Expert on Nature Conservation in Canton Basel-Stadt

End of June 2018, the government of the canton Basel-Stadt has elected Regula Winzeler to act as an official expert on nature conservation for the commission treating appeals against orders concerning construction projects. She will advise the commission on ecological questions.

Natural Inventory Bettingen 2017

The Natural Inventory Bettingen 2017 has been compiled by GEO Partner AG, Katrin Rudmann and Regula Winzeler, in close collaboration with the local authority and members of the agency for nature conservation of Bettingen. The inventory has been published in April 2018 and describes 58 selected natural objects in seven habitats and gives an overview of their development and potential endangerment. The inventory is complemented by a plan showing all natural objects.

Regula Winzeler new Co-Managing Director of GEO Partner AG

Regula Winzeler has become Co-Managing Director and is directing the business of GEO Partner AG together with Patrick Plüss since 1. April 2018.

Regula Winzeler has been a member of the management since 2014 and has been working for GEO Partner AG for a long time. Her main fields of activitiy are waste/resources and ecology. She also handles projects in the fields of wood/forest, environmental sustainability, and water.

Report Flow of Material in Swiss Electronic Waste

New Publication by GEO Partner AG on behalf of the Federal Office for the Environment.

In a large-scale study 220 t of electrical and electronic waste at a recycling facility were analysed. The report shows concentrations and flow of material of different metals and organic contaminants as well as their partitioning to different output fractions.

GEO Partner AG has planned the study and interpreted all results analysed by external laboratories.
